Senior People & Culture Generalist
APPLYYOUR ROLE
A. Main Objective:
Responsible for managing HR activities with a primary focus on talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and HR operations while ensuring compliance and delivering a positive employee experience.
B. Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition:
– Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from manpower request to employee onboarding.
– Partner with Hiring Managers to develop recruitment plans aligned with business needs.
– Prepare and update job descriptions.
– Source, screen, interview, and coordinate recruitment activities.
– Conduct reference checks when required.
– Prepare offer letters and coordinate onboarding programs for new hires.
– Monitor recruitment performance, analyze hiring metrics, and recommend process improvements.
2. Compensation & Benefits:
– Process monthly payroll for employees in Vietnam and Malaysia accurately and on time.
– Manage attendance records, allowances, incentives, deductions, and employee benefits.
– Administer statutory insurance, personal income tax, and other employment-related obligations in accordance with local regulations.
– Coordinate with the Finance & Accounting Department and relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing.
– Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
3. HR Operations:
– Maintain employee records and labor contracts.
– Handle onboarding, employee transfers, contract renewals, and offboarding processes.
– Maintain and update employee information in the HR system.
– Collaborate with teams and offices across Vietnam and Malaysia to ensure consistent and effective HR operations.
– Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
4. Employee Engagement & Culture:
– Coordinate and deliver onboarding programs for new hires.
– Coordinate employee engagement activities and internal events.
– Gather employee feedback and recommend initiatives to improve the workplace and employee experience.
– Contribute to building and strengthening the company culture.
5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
– Prepare periodic recruitment, HR, and payroll reports.
– Analyze HR data and recommend improvements to HR processes and policies.
– Perform other duties assigned by the direct manager.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
– Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or equivalent role.
– Hands-on experience in recruitment and payroll administration.
– Experience handling payroll for multiple entities or countries is an advantage.
– Strong knowledge of Vietnam Labor Law; knowledge of Malaysian employment and payroll regulations is a plus.
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HR management systems.
– Able to communicate effectively in English and collaborate with the Malaysia team.
– Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
